HGW BSP hydraulic fittings and adapters connect British Standard pipe, port, and 60° cone interfaces across industrial and mobile equipment. The range includes BSPP and BSPT straights, elbows, tees, swivels, plugs, reducers, and conversion fittings.
BSP is a family of related connection styles rather than one universal sealing method. BSPP uses parallel threads and may seal at a 60° cone, bonded seal, elastomeric port seal, or another specified seat. BSPT uses tapered threads and seals through thread interference with a compatible sealant where the fitting design calls for it. Always match the thread form, seat, seal type, and size shown on the product page.
HGW series cover straight and forged configurations for BSP-to-BSP connections and transitions to JIC, NPT, ORB, ORFS, metric, JIS, and other commonly serviced hydraulic interfaces. Options include unions, bulkheads, adjustable port ends, swivel adapters, elbows, tees, crosses, caps, and plugs, allowing a British-thread component to be integrated without treating every BSP connection as interchangeable.
Materials
Available materials include steel, stainless steel, and brass in selected series and sizes. Material, finish, seal material, and pressure capability vary by item, so confirm the specifications for the exact part number before ordering.
