HGW SAE flareless tube components build rigid hydraulic lines with a fitting body, compression ferrule, and nut. Select each connection by tube outside diameter, material, mating end, and routing shape.
How This Connection Is Selected
The tube end is assembled without forming a 37° flare. A matched ferrule grips the tube as the nut is tightened against the fitting body. Tube outside diameter, wall thickness, hardness, cut quality, insertion depth, and assembly procedure all affect the finished joint.
Build the Joint From Matching Parts
Bodies for straight, elbow, tee, cross, swivel, and bulkhead routing
Nuts and ferrules sized for the specified tube
Caps and plugs for temporary or permanent line closure
Transitions to JIC, pipe-thread, and SAE O-ring boss ports
Routing and Port Transitions
Use unions within a rigid tube run and threaded adapters where the line meets a pump, valve, cylinder, manifold, or hose assembly. Choose the angle and port end from the actual installation rather than relying on the series number alone.
Before Assembly
Confirm SAE J514 compatibility where specified, use body, nut, ferrule, and tube components intended to work together, and follow the applicable preset and tightening instructions. Material, finish, dimensions, and pressure capability must be checked for the exact item.
