HGW NPSM pipe swivel adapters provide straight-thread female swivel connections for compatible male pipe seats. The range includes straight connectors, 45° and 90° elbows, tees, and ORB port adapters in steel and stainless steel options.
An NPSM swivel uses straight threads and a 30° internal cone that seals against the matching 30° seat on a correctly formed male NPT or NPTF fitting. The threads hold the connection together; the cone and seat create the seal. A matching thread diameter alone does not confirm compatibility, because not every male pipe fitting includes the required seat.
HGW NPSM series include male- and female-pipe connectors, long and standard elbows, branch tees, union tees, and adjustable ORB port configurations. The swivel nut helps orient and assemble the line without rotating the connected tube or hose. It is intended for positioning during assembly, not continuous rotation while the hydraulic system is operating.
