A hose barb or hose bead connection uses a formed stem to grip the inside of a compatible hose. Retention and sealing depend on the hose construction, barb profile, clamp or crimp method, assembly dimensions, fluid, temperature, and working pressure. Select the fitting together with the hose and retention system rather than by nominal hose size alone.
HGW hose barb series include male-pipe connectors, female and branch configurations, angled adapters, and fixed or adjustable ORB port ends. These choices support direct connection to threaded equipment while reducing the number of separate adapters required.
