HGW Metric and DIN 2353 fittings support 24° compression-style metric tube connections and related metric hydraulic ports. The range includes Light, Heavy, and Extra-Light series, unions, elbows, tees, swivels, nuts, sleeves, plugs, and conversion adapters.
DIN 2353 and ISO 8434-1 tube fittings use a 24° cone with a cutting or bite ring that grips the metric tube as the nut is tightened. LL, L, and S series differ in tube dimensions and service capability and are not interchangeable simply because a thread appears to fit. Correct tube preparation, component series, preset, and assembly torque are essential.
HGW metric series include complete tube fittings and body-only configurations, reducers, bulkheads, banjos, diagnostic points, caps, plugs, and adjustable ends. Conversion options connect DIN tube ends to JIC, NPTF, BSPP, BSPT, ORB, metric ED-seal, metric bonded-seal, and ISO 6149 ports. These port styles use different sealing methods, so match the full interface rather than the metric thread designation alone.
Materials
Steel and stainless steel are available across selected HGW Metric and DIN 2353 series. Material, finish, tube series, seal type, dimensions, and pressure rating vary by part number and must be checked for the complete assembly.
