HGW SAE O-Ring Boss fittings and adapters are designed for straight-thread hydraulic ports using an elastomeric O-ring seal. This category includes ORB connectors, reducers, plugs, couplings, elbows, tees, and conversion adapters for common hydraulic systems.
An SAE O-Ring Boss connection uses straight threads to retain the fitting while the O-ring seals against the port chamfer and spotface. The threads are not the primary sealing surface. Fixed and adjustable ORB ends are used with ports based on SAE J1926; adjustable elbows and tees can be oriented during assembly and then secured with the backup washer and locknut.
HGW ORB series include male and female connectors, nipples, reducers, plugs, couplings, 45° and 90° elbows, and tee configurations. Available transitions include ORB-to-ORB as well as selected ORB connections to JIC and NPTF, giving technicians options for connecting manifolds, cylinders, valves, and existing line assemblies while preserving the correct sealing method at each end.
