Brass Push-to-Connect Fittings for Push-On Hose Connections

Brass push-to-connect fittings are used when a push-on hose needs to be connected quickly to a threaded port or another hose. The goal is a simple hose connection without clamps, ferrules, or a longer assembly process.

They are useful in lower-pressure, approved push-on hose applications where the hose, push connection, thread type, and fluid service are all compatible.

Threaded Adapter Options

A push-to-connect fitting can combine a hose connection with a threaded end. Common adapter choices include NPT pipe threads, JIC connections, and SAE-style threads, depending on the port or component being connected.

The threaded side still has to match the system. A push connection on one end does not make the opposite end universal, so confirm thread family, thread size, seal type, and pressure rating before ordering.

Hose-to-Hose Connections

Push-to-connect adapters can also be used for hose-to-hose connections. In that case, both hose ends must be compatible with the fitting design, and the hose size should match the fitting series.

Common hose sizes range from about 1/4 inch up to 1 inch, but the correct size depends on the hose manufacturer, fluid, temperature, and working pressure.

When a Custom Option Is Needed

Some applications need an uncommon thread, a tight routing angle, a special transition, or a body configuration that is not available as a standard catalog item. In those cases, the fitting should be engineered around the hose, port, clearance, and operating conditions.

For buyers, the checklist is simple: confirm hose size, thread type, seal style, brass compatibility, pressure rating, and whether a straight, elbow, or hose-to-hose layout is needed.
